Our July Trimontium Talk is bringing us stories from the Antonine Wall!

The Roman Empire’s most northerly frontier has many stories left to tell, not least about how this impressive piece of engineering was actually constructed. Using exciting new techniques of field archaeology, Dr Romankiewicz explores how this enduring symbol of the Roman invasion highlights building methods that have lasted for centuries.

This talk will take place in person at the museum and online via Zoom.

Are you ready for some fascinating exlporation of the Antonine Wall? We hope to see you there!
