To continue our theme of Indigenous settlement at the time of the Roman invasion of Scotland, we are pleased to have Graeme Cavers of AOC come along and tell us about recent excavations at a roundhouse settlement at Braehead in Glasgow. Graeme will share what that investigation revealed about the construction techniques and utilisation of this ubiquitous form of Iron Age habitation. From the outside, these settlements may appear deceptively simple, but as Graeme will reveal, they are most decidedly not.
