We had a fantastic day of family activities on Saturday 18th June, as part of our Borders Book Festival event. We welcomed over 450 adults and children to Abbey House Garden, where they could do treasure hunts, do Roman crafts, dress up like Romans and even meet a few! We have had lovely comments about how much the children enjoyed the day and they looked wonderful in their costumes.

Our volunteers were brilliant and we can’t wait to do an event like this again. Watch this space!
