A Celtic woman trading at an Iron Age market. Treacherous trades with Savage Sigrid.

Roll up, roll up! Savage Sigrid of the Selgovae Tribe is coming to Trimontium to try some bartering with the locals, and maybe even the Romans…

Together with our friends from Museum on the Mound in Edinburgh, we’ll be looking at how we traded without coins and banknotes.  Try your hand at some Iron Age bartering, and see if you can craft something new from the Selgovae’s spoils!

SUNDAY August 10th

11 am – 4 pm

Included with museum entry!
