Join our resident storyteller Nicola Agricola for a rip-rollicking journey through Roman tales, traditions and toilets! Want to know all about which Gods are which? Why the Romans are responsible for you having to eat your veg? Who was the weirdest Emperor? And what was life like at the Trimontium Fort? Be prepared for rats and radishes, wonder and warriors…and for revolting Roman poo.
Suitable for all ages. Storytelling will take place in the Museum gallery surrounded by the treasures of Trimontium.
Storytelling sessions will run throughout the day between 11am-4pm. You are welcome to enjoy the rest of the museum afterwards, including a treasure hunt, audio visuals and displays.
