Our NEW MUSEUM is now OPEN with more objects, new interpretation, previously unseen loans and a programme of events and activities for all. Our popular ROMAN FORT guided walks are running on Thursdays and Saturdays at 1pm with a new TOWN TRAIL on Fridays at 1pm.
Museum visitors will be able to learn about the fort site at nearby Newstead & see over 200 unique Roman finds from Trimontium loaned from the National Museum’s collections alongside objects from the Trust’s own collection & a range of stunning Roman military objects from private collections. We are proud to display here in the Scottish Borders probably the finest collection of Roman military finds anywhere in the UK.BOOK MUSEUM TICKETS
The Trust also run guided walks to the Trimontium fort site on a regular basis, see our events page for the next walk. We also organise talks, lectures and events throughout the year and as the COVID restictions change we will advertise these though our events page & social media.
