Originally from Germany, Sabine made Scotland her home over 30 years ago. She joined Trimontium as a volunteer in 2021. Since autumn 2023, she became a member of staff as Visitor Experience Officer.

Sabine is also an archaeologist, having excavated in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, and Scotland, and she is very happy to be supporting the Museum in this faculty. She is one of the archaeologists who helps oversee metal detecting and fieldwalking activities at the Trimontium fort site.
