An evening of mystery and imagination”

Come and hear details of the fabulous finds made by James Curle, Edwardian lawyer and amatuer archeologist, during his excavations at Newstead.
Learn of the astonishing ‘Trimontium Treasure’ of weaponry, military hardware, exotic goods, people and animals yhat found their way into the pits of
Trimontium.

Was this simple abandonment, murder mystery or gifts for the Gods?

Let centurion, Lucius Maximius Geatulicus tell you his own version of events.

Followed by a wine and cheese evening visit to the collection.
