It’s been two years since we opened the doors to our refurbished museum.

Since then we have welcomed nearly 20,000 visitors, run 4 archaeological digs, conducted 11 field-walking sessions at the fort site and completed over 25,000 volunteer hours.

We have also achieved our 5 star museum award from Visit Scotland and are currently nominated for two Regional Visit Scotland Thistle Awards.

We’re now a bit bigger than we were when we opened – our extension building was opened earlier this year and is currently being kitted out for our new activities, which will be running from next year.
