Frank Sharp – Trustee

A Borderer for over twenty five years, Frank and his wife live in Melrose
MBA (University of Manchester Business School), MSc in Employment Studies & Law (Distinction) (University of Salford), BSc Management -Human Resources (Hons) (University of Salford), Diploma of Biomedical Science Clinical Chemistry (IBMS), appointed Chartered Fellow CIPD and elected Fellow Royal Society of Arts.
Frank worked as a director of Swiss multinational Ciba Geigy; European HR Director of International Paper Co and Global HR Director of Bridon plc prior to moving to the water industry in Scotland as executive director of East of Scotland Water (now Scottish Water). Frank served as a Trustee director of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA); a Trustee of a number of Private Sector pension schemes and external examiner to the Universities of Manchester, Sheffield and Strathclyde.
Prior to retirement Frank set up his own consultancy specialising in business turnaround, organisational and culture change, mergers and acquisitions, executive recruitment and financial recovery.
Principle interests are motor racing, walking, gardening, ruby (a supporter and member of Melrose RFC) and classic cars.
