Our August Trimontium Talk examines a fascinating topic! Who are the Celts with Mr. Jack Duncan.

It has been noted that Trimontium is a prime example of the Roman’s eye for a strategic location, situated on the traditional border of Caledonia. It is also located on the River Tweed which is well suited for military real estate. The Roman parked themselves on the doorstep of a particularly powerful northern tribe. But what do we call these people? Celts? Britons? Barbarians? I will explore the question of Celtic Identity and attempt to answer “Who are the Celts”? Jack Duncan is the host and producer of the Celtic History podcast.
