Join us at Trimontium Museum, in the middle of Melrose and get digging on our ongoing Community Archaeology dig!

Who knows what you’ll find – a 1982 ring pull from a can of Lilt or St Cuthbert’s third shin bone…

You will receive expert tuition and guidance from the HARP Archaeology team and Trimontium staff – no previous experience needed.

Wear clothes that can get muddy, bring garden gloves if you can (we have some spare) and stay for 5 minutes or 5 hours….

Sand pit with hidden treasure for young and young at heart…

All welcome, drop in between 10am – 4pm…

There may be a wait at busy times. The museum will be open to extend your visit (entrance fees apply)…
